The Simple Rule of Thumb
If your regular weekly or biweekly cleaning only covers visible surfaces, buildup happens in the places you don't see every day — behind appliances, inside cabinets, grout lines, window tracks. A deep clean resets all of that.
General guideline: every 3–6 months for most households, more often if you have pets, allergies, or a smaller space that shows dirt faster.
Situations That Call for a Deep Clean
Beyond routine timing, certain moments almost always call for a deep clean:
